World Water Week, organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute, is the leading global conference on water, bringing together researchers, policymakers, businesses, and civil society to explore solutions for a more water-secure future. ICARDA, together with FAO, CIRAD, the Ministry of Agriculture of Malawi, and AWSAMe partners, will convene a session on “Promoting Opportunity Crops towards the SDGs.” Dr. Krishna Devkota, Senior Scientist at ICARDA, will join a panel discussion to share evidence from ICARDA’s research and discuss how climate-resilient “forgotten” crops can be scaled into national strategies for food and water security.
