The 15th International Conference on Arid Lands

Our research program leader - Soil, Water, and Agronomy at ICARDA, Dr. Vinay Nangia, will deliver a keynote speech at the 15th International Conference on Arid Lands: Desert Technology XV (DT XV). The event, organized by the Japanese Association for Arid Land Studies (JAALS) and Jordan University of Science and Technology, will take place from June 3-6 in Jordan.

Dr. Nangia's keynote speech titled "Climate Action in Agriculture: A Prerequisite for Food Security" will be presented on June 5 at 10:30 AM Jordan time. The speech will shed light on the crucial intersection of climate action and agriculture, emphasizing its vital role in ensuring global food security.
