Goals

The project will contribute to the implementation of water productivity improvement at watershed level in Palestine.

Objectives

The project will focus on piloting a range of in-situ water harvesting based orchard agriculture (rainfed olive trees) while monitoring and analyzing on-site soil-water-agro-ecosystem processes for knowledge enhancement and decision support.

Impact pathways

The interventions of the project will contribute to enhance water productivity and socio-ecological resilience through gender-responsive community-based integrated management of water and natural resources. The project will also contribute to the engagement and capacity building of targeted communities in the selected areas.
