Assoc]iate Scientist - Agronomist within the sub-team Soils, Waters and Agronomy (SWA), and based in Cairo. Holding a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from Ain Shams University (Egypt) in 2009. Working on interdisciplinary research topics of irrigated agricultural systems modeling and analysis, precision agriculture applications, and the vulnerability and adaptation of agriculture to climate change. Previously, Was a senior researcher in the Agriculture Research Center (ARC-Egypt). And have worked on numerous national and international research projects on enhancing on-farm irrigation management and water productivity, assessing the impacts of climate change on field crops and crop-water requirements, and the precision management of on-farm irrigation.
