World Food Day 2021 - CGIAR Regional Director of CWANA & ICARDA Director General Mr. Aly Abousabaa to speak
We are delighted to announce that Mr. Aly Abousabaa, CGIAR Regional Director CWANA, and Director General ICARDA, will give a keynote speech and participate in a high-level panel discussion at the International World Food Day (WFD) being held at the World Exposition Dubai (EXPO2020) on October 16th.
Dr. Vinay Nangia, ICARDA’s Soil, Water, and Agronomy Team Leader will be participating as a moderator. ICARDA’s GeoAgro Team Leader Dr. Chandrasekhar Biradar, and Climatologist Dr. Ajit Govind will be giving virtual presentations.
A global opportunity to ‘Connect Minds and Create the Future’ through sustainability, mobility and opportunity, the World Food Day events will be facilitated in conjunction with anchor partners, the UAE Food and Water Security Ministry & FAO, and designed by the SDG2 Advocacy Hub.
