Our research focuses on the needs and priorities of smallholder farmers and the rural communities that depend on them for their livelihoods - with a view to increasing agricultural productivity and developing opportunities for better market integration and economic growth. We also develop technologies and innovations that promote the sustainable use of natural resources and biodiversity, creating greater resilience to climate change.
